ELISA kit for quantitation of Mouse IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b and IgM:

This double sandwich ELISA utilizes polyclonal anti-mouse IgG antiserum as a capture antibody and peroxidase-conjugated affinity purified anti-mouse antiserum as the detecting antibody. Murine myeloma IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b and IgM proteins are used in calibration standards.

Each kit features :
    A 96 well, 12 strip plate, pre-coated with a polyclonal capture antibody.

Conjugated affinity purified antiserum peroxidase as a detector.

Mouse IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b and IgM protein standards.

A complete set of buffers and reagents necessary for completion of an ELISA.

The assay measures :
    Mouse IgG1 in the range of 6.25-100 ng/ml.

Mouse IgG2a in the range of 6.25-100 ng/ml.

Mouse IgG2b in the range of 12.5-200 ng/ml.

Mouse IgM in the range of 12.5-200 ng/ml.

Indications for use :
  Monitoring of Ig production by hybridoma in small and large scale tissue cultures.

Monitoring of Ig production in ascites.

Quantitation of Ig recovery in column chromatography eluates during monoclonal antibody purification process.

Monitoring of mouse Ig level in sera of patients inoculated with murine monoclonal antibodies since no significant interference of normal human serum with the kit's performance was detected.

Quantitation of murine Ig in the final product

Contra-indications :
    This kit cannot be used for quantitation of one subclass of murine Ig in the presence of other subclasses of murine Ig such as in unfractioned mouse serum.
In such situations, concentration of a particular Ig sublclass would be overestimated due to the additive effect of two or more binding antibodies.
