Mouse monoclonal antibody to
cardiac myosin light chain 1
TRADE NAME: F5
The antibody was obtained from polyethylene glycol fusion of non-secreting mouse
myeloma(P3X63.Ag8.653) cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mouse immunized with
porcine ventricular myosin light chain preparation.

ANTIBODY CHARACTERISTICS
| Immunoglobulin class : | IgG1,
k |
| Isoelectric point: | 6.55-6.85 |
| Immunologic specificity : | The
antibody is ventricular myosin light chain 1 specific. On Western blots
and in ELISA it reacts only with purified light chain 1, but not atrial,
myosin of human, sheep, porcine or canine origin. It does not react with
heavy chains of myosin, or with cardiac myosin light chain 2. |
| Cross-reactivity : | It
cross-reacts with skeletal muscle myosin light chain isolated from several
species (human, pig, dog, rat). |
| Use : | Anti-ventricular
myosin light chain 1 antibody could be useful for: - myocardial infarction diagnosis - immunofluoresceine staining of cryocuts of cardiac and skeletal muscle tissue |
| Storage : | Store
at 2-8oC. |
| Stability : | IgGWhen
reconstituted in aqueous solution IgG remains stable for six months if
stored at 4oC. No considerable loss of activity was detected
when stored at -20oC over a period of one year. |
| Delivery form : | Lyophilized
pure IgG (ascites derived) |
| Delivery quantities: |
- 1 mg/vial SKU #: 76200 - 2 mg/vial SKU #: 76201 - 5 mg/vial SKU #: 76205 -10 mg/vial SKU #: 76210 |
