General Information Objectives Partnership

ERFA Canada,  «Entreprises de Recherche de Fabrication et d'Analyse ERFA Canada Inc», was created in 1998. ERFA Canada commercialises ERFA SA's products range. It acquires or in-licenses new molecules for the Canadian, NAFTA and/or export markets. Product focus is on pharmaceutical brands, OTC products, nutritionals, veterinary products and medical devices.

ERFA acquired the intellectual rights on Rougier Biotech and its Monoclonal Antibodies research activities. ERFA  now holds a majority share in both CardioVision™ Biotech and ERFA Biotech. Partners are Innovatech du Grand Montréal and the RAMO Group of Companies.

The mission of ERFA Canada is to maintain the availability of proven niche pharmaceutical products that would otherwise be taken of the markets due to mergers of pharmaceutical companies or simply by the pruning of their product portfolios. ERFA Canada will achieve this by in licensing and/or acquisition as well as by providing contract manufacturing for these niche products.
