Calcium is essential for the normal functioning
of cells and of different tissues: bones, nerves, muscles etc. Calcium
supplements are used to treat or prevent low blood calcium levels.
ERFA CAL D is usually prescribed for treatment of osteoporosis (bone
loss), osteomalacia (brittle bones), rickets, tetany or to ensure
an adequate dietary intake in conditions such as pregnancy, nursing
or convalescence after bone fractures.
Vitamin D improves the absorption of Calcium.
POSOLOGY
Take 2 tablets per day in separate
doses.
SIDE EFFETS 
ERFA CAL D is generally well tolerated. If you
notice adverse effects, please contact your doctor.
PRECAUTIONS 
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing heart
disease or kidney stones. ERFA CAL D should be used as directed
during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Advise your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication
you may be taking.

If overdose is suspected, contact your local
poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of
overdose may include nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps, constipation,
diarrhea, severe drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, headache, irritability,
dry mouth, loss of appetite, metallic taste, unconsciousness.

Each ERFA CAL D tablet contains Calcium 500 mg (1250
mg Calcium Carbonate from oyster shell), Vitamin D 125 IU. Non-medicinal
ingredients: Magnesium stearate, Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose,
Polyethylene glycol and Propylene glycol.
