Lactobacillus
rhamnosus
Flora modifier
Indications:
To assist in the restoration and maintenance of the normal
physiological and bacterial flora of the oral and intestinal
tracts. Has been used in the prevention and treatment of
postantibiotic stomatitis and microbial diarrheas; also
in aphthous and herpetic stomatitis.
Precautions:
Should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature between
2 and 8°C to maintain potency. Not to be used in
the preparation of yogurt or acidophilus milk.
Dosage:
2 capsules 2 to 4 times daily, taken preferably with milk
or lactose. For infants or others unable to take capsules,
the contents of the capsules may be added to semi-solid
food.

Supplied:
Each light orange, hard gel capsule, contains: a viable human
strain of Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Nonmedicinal
ingredients: butylated hydroxytoluene, FD&C Yellow No 10,
FD&C Yellow No 6, gelatin, magnesium stearate, mineral oil,
skim-milk powder and sodium carboxymethylcellulose. Tartrazine-free.
Odor similar to milk powder. Bottles of 50.
