Originating in Australia, the essential oil Tea Tree or Melaleuca Alternifolia was used by the aboriginal people for over 100 years for various skin affections.

Recent studies at Australia's University of Western Sydney revealed that the essential oil Tea Tree gives remarkable performance as a natural bactericide and fungicide.

The LAPHAC Laboratories have combined Tea Tree Oil with four other essential oils (Artemisia Arborescens, Cymbopogon Martinii, Lavandula Angustifolia Litsea Citrata) to produce a pleasantly perfumed blend with outstanding natural efficacy, called Mela-T-Tree^®.
